Dinosaur Rock!

This morning Pudge and I went for a short hike to see a nearby rock formation known as "Dinosaur Rock." I did some research, and what I learned is that these rocks were formed a bajillion years ago of an igneous rock called diabase. The lesser rocks of the area eroded over time leaving the harder diabase in these formations. Crazy.

There really wasn't much around to shoot other than the actual "dinosaur rock," so there are only 5 photos in the gallery for this one. You can view them by clicking here.

Money Rocks

On Sunday the Steelers played at 8:30, so Justi and I took a trip to Money Rocks near Narvon, PA for a little hike. I hadn't been there before, so I didn't know what to expect. I was blown away with what we found; in the middle of the rolling hills of Lancaster County are these 70 foot cliffs and giant rocks that provide beautiful scenery and tremendous views across the valley below. The above photo is one I took of a small ravine at the base of the cliffs. You can view more photos from this trip by clicking here.

Anniversary Present

So today is Justi and my second wedding anniversary. We decided not to buy each other any gifts. I decided that if I couldn't buy a gift I would buy the ingredients of a gift and then make her something. She's been learning how to knit and has been doing a great job of it so far, but she's been hauling her equipment around in an AC Moore plastic bag. So I made her a knitting bag and a cozy for her needles!

Tacquan Glen!

It finally stopped raining on Sunday, so after making a fresh pot of coffee and doing the dishes from Saturday night, I woke up Justi and told her we were going for a hike. I made a couple of ham and cheese sandwiches, filled a bottle of water and grabbed my camera. We headed to Tacquan Glen, a place I used to frequent with friends in high school, and had a wonderful hike through the woods. You can view more of photos from this trip by clicking here.

Show Your Cards Already

I very rarely write anything on here, but right now I am tired of seeing this:
Fugazi is currently on an indefinite hiatus as they tend to young families and other musical projects.

Break up or retire or do whatever, just stop leading me on with this open-ended hiatus mumbo jumbo. Seriously, The Argument was released in mid-October of 2001; that's SEVEN YEARS of "hiatus."

FUGAZI, you want a Bulldog Front? Well here's my analysis: you haven't harvested the crust from your eyes, you've lost the desire to write relevant music.

Can i interest you in a black unit?

I am pooped from a long day of napping...
